And the Award goes to: next:classroom
It must have sounded like this or something similar when this year’s winner of the eLearning Awards 2018 in the category “Object-based learning” was announced. The award, presented annually by eLearning Journal, once again confirms that Steffen Schuster, Managing Director of edu:cube GmbH (www.educube.de), recognized the trends in the field of learning of the future at an early stage, so that we were able to realize this innovative and unique solution together with him.
With great commitment and a clear vision, the Hamburg entrepreneur has consistently pursued the goal of making meaningful use of the myriad possibilities of digital mobility. In doing so, he has shown the courage to break new ground in the education sector and has also been able to position himself successfully on the market internationally with next:classroom, particularly in the renowned Swiss education sector.
And despite, or perhaps because of, his success, Steffen Schuster still has big plans for the future: “With next:classroom, we were able to take a first step in the development of a trend-setting training concept that harmonizes analog learning with the digital education of the future and that convinces with a pedagogical concept that enables the individual promotion of learners’ personal strengths. I am pleased to have found a strong partner in neomatt GmbH, who shares the idea of “making valuable use of digitization” with me, so that with next:classroom a product could be developed that is positively received by both teachers and students.”
We congratulate Steffen Schuster and edu:cube GmbH on their award and look forward to further cooperation, of which we can already reveal with a little wink that the digital learning experience will take on even more realistic forms in the future.
