Today, we live in a rapidly changing society in which information and knowledge are essential factors for personal success. The KIT Initiative (http://www.kit-initiative.de) already recognized this development 15 years ago and has since initiated non-profit learning offers for everyone that combine fun and learning. In the future, the KIT Initiative will cooperate with neomatt GmbH to offer learning opportunities in the form of online knowledge and puzzle games. On February 13, 2017, information will be provided at Camp.Essen (http://www.camp-essen.de) about the first joint activities and an example will be given of how business and non-profit can be successfully combined. The first chairman of the German Inventors’ Association e.V. (http://www.deutscher-erfinder-verband.de) Mr. Hans-Geord Torkel, as patron of the event, will present 17-year-old app developer Marius Schönefeld with an award for which he was nominated at IENA 2016 ((http://www.iena.de). This will be followed by informative contributions from the KIT initiative and neomatt GmbH on the cooperation entered into and the presentation of a joint project, which will be presented for the first time at the end of March at the Maker Faire 2017 (https://www.makerfaire-ruhr.com/) at DASA Dortmund.
