Colouring<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The following steps show the quickest method of colouring an object, without importing textures or UV maps<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select a Colour<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Select the object, then:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. click<\/a> in the \u201cmaterial\u201d tab (a red\/black ball)<\/li>
  2. click<\/a> on \u201cNew\u201d<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The \u201cnew\u201d tab opens options, from which you can choose \u201ccolour\u201d. There are multiple possible options to choose: Hex, RGB or HSV (1). It\u2019s also possible to manually choose a colour on the colour wheel, but this reduces accuracy if a desired colour is desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Applying the colour<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    As long as you have not applied the colour to the object, you will not see the colour in some viewers. To apply the colour, switch to \u201cEdit Mode\u201c. You will then see an \u201cAssign\u201c button under the material area.
